True Wisdom

Many of us do not have someone in our lives that will take care of us when we can no longer care for ourselves. Whether it be age, illness, or disability, most of us will face a time when dependence on another will be needed. Many of our spouses do not take care of their health and some have children that sadly will choose to not care for us. And even if we do have people in our lives that will be there, loving someone is being no burden to them. My experience with care facilities was not a great one either. So what to do? The answer is to make sure you are as strong as possible no matter what stage of life you are in. Keep your heart, brain, bones, and muscles functioning at the highest levels possible for your own sake. Manage food and mood with self-awareness, boundaries, and a strong desire to remain high functioning. Stay busy and serve others often without return. See the good in life and know you have the resilience to overcome obstacles and struggles. Wisdom is defined as the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise. Use your experience, knowledge, and good judgment to care for your health future. Begin as soon as possible. BE YOUR OWN MIRACLE!
